Article 1.
Cancellation Policy
Online booking is the only way to secure your reservation.
If you cancel your booking with more than 24 hours’ notice, we will be happy to refund your reservation in full.
No refund will be offered if the booking is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Article 2.
The customer is responsible for all rented equipment. In case of non-returned equipment, the customer will be charged the full price of the new equipment, plus rental charges.
Article 3.
Our equipment is maintained in good condition, suitable for normal use, and should not be used for any purpose other than its intended use. All equipment is marked with identification tags and/or numbers, and must be returned with the same identification tags and/or numbers. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will require the customer to pay the total repair cost, or in case of irreparable damage, the full cost of the equipment at its new price, plus the rental fee.
Article 4.
The rental gear must be used only by the person named in the rental contract and must not be re-let or loaned to third parties.
Article 5.
Skis and snowboards are insured against accidental damage in the mountain, with no extra payment required in the event of a claim (referred to here as “insurance”). All other rented equipment is not insured.
The insurance does not cover equipment in case of theft (e.g., from a bar terrace in the village). It also does not cover damage caused by careless or inappropriate use of the equipment (e.g., crossing a road on skis).
In case of loss or theft, the customer must immediately inform the shop and, in case of theft, report it to the nearest police station within 24 hours of the incident.
The customer is responsible for any eventuality not covered by the insurance.
Article 6.
The rental period is fixed for a determined period on the rental agreement. Each payable day starts at 08:00 and ends at 19:00. The rental period cannot be changed without confirmation from the rental shop. Each rental day is subject to the published rate. For online bookings made on the website, the date indicated as the start date of the stay will be the day on which rental charges are applicable.
Article 7.
A credit card and/or a photocopy of an ID may be required to establish the rental agreement.
Article 8.
The customer who has previously provided a credit card number or a photocopy of the card authorizes and grants permission to the shop to charge the appropriate amount to their card for any sum due for non-payment of rental, missing equipment, or when the returned equipment requires non-contractual repairs (according to published rates).
Article 9.
The information requested when opening a rental agreement will help us serve you better. It is mandatory to answer all questions except those marked as optional. Your personal information will only be used by the rental shop and will never be disclosed or sold to third parties.
You have the right to access, modify, rectify, or delete your personal data as stipulated by law. Please ask the rental shop to exercise this right.
Article 10.
Payment for the rented equipment must be received on the date of payment.
Article 11.
In case of disputes regarding this contract, the nearest competent court to the rental location will be the Small Claims Court.
