Insurance details :
Any damage beyond normal wear and tear of the equipment will require the customer to pay the full cost of repairs, or, in the case of irreparable damage, the full replacement value of the equipment at the new price, plus the rental fee.
Skis and snowboards are insured against accidental damage on the mountain with no extra charge in the event of a claim (referred to here as “insurance”). All other rented equipment is not insured.
The insurance does not cover the equipment in case of theft (for example, on a bar terrace in the village). It also does not cover damage resulting from negligent or inappropriate use of the equipment (for example, crossing a road on skis).
In the event of loss or theft, the client must immediately inform the shop, and in case of theft, report it to the nearest police station within 24 hours of the incident. In case of theft and failure to return the equipment, the replacement value of the equipment at the new price will be charged to the customer.
